Keepspace

Keepspace is a private records app for the things people want to preserve: possessions, documents, receipts, warranties, family objects, and the stories attached to them. It starts as a home inventory tool, but is designed to feel more like a calm digital home for what matters.

Problem

Most people do not have a reliable record of the things they own. Receipts disappear, warranties are forgotten, serial numbers go unrecorded, and important photos or documents end up scattered across phones, drives, cloud folders, and notes apps. The problem often only becomes visible during stressful moments: a move, theft, insurance claim, fire, flood, or death in the family.

Context

Existing inventory tools tend to feel utilitarian, commercial, or overly focused on business workflows. General cloud storage tools can hold files, but they do not understand belongings, provenance, warranty dates, values, locations, or family access. Keepspace explores a more personal version of inventory: structured enough to be useful, but quiet enough to feel appropriate for sensitive records and meaningful objects.

Solution

The product organizes belongings into collections, with each item carrying both practical records and personal context. Users can attach photos, receipts, manuals, serial numbers, purchase details, warranty information, notes, and stories. The interface is intentionally calm and restrained, with an emphasis on privacy, trust, and long-term usefulness rather than urgency or engagement loops.
